Duos for Dual exposures!

Olympus Infinity II & Fisheye No.2 --- they work together beautifully!

I loaded a roll of Lomo Color Neg 100 into my Olympus Infinity II. Took some photos at the Oakland Zoo. Once the roll was done the camera rolled the film back into itself leaving the easily accessible "flap" that you use to get the film on the exposure spool. I then loaded this roll of film into my Fisheye No. 2 and shot away.

This is what happened.

The house

I was talking about posting come of my "collages."
Here is a digital collage I created with digitized film negatives.

The Process :

I shot with Lomography X-Tungsten film on a Lomography Fisheye No.1. The film was then cross processed at the lab. The cross processing actually left the pink, purple, and red tones to the 

photographs.

I then imported these photos into Adobe Photoshop, and started to manipulate the images to piece them together. It just seems right that these photos sit amongst one another. I physically rewound the film in order to have the photos overlap one another.

I now have a FISHEYE once again!

Life is SO good.

I didn't realize what I was missing out on.
Yes, I loved playing around with other cameras ... but ... FISHEYE is my one true love.

Making my first Blurb book

The book is titled :
(phishy) pHocus Pocus

obviously a play on words...i'll tell you what kind of words.

• the ph refers to photography/photos
• phishy comes from the word fishy, reference to fisheye camera, all photos are shot with a Lomography Fisheye No.1
• pH may refer to its use in chemistry, chemicals used to develop these analogue photos, yup that's right - developed - FILM ya'll !

so now you put the words together and it makes for a fun saying and clever title (i think)

hmmmm i'm going to get a "pilot" book printed...and maybe try and market it? wouldn't that be amazing! WOW... thanks you Blurb.com...you are making my life so exciting now!

Why?

I am so sick of online crap, I like stuff I can hold in my hand. And a book you can!

Toy Camera dreams!

This weekend I decided to participate in a "Meet Up" with the Lomographic Society in San Francisco. I couldn't resist the !!FREE!! in the event name - if you attended you would receive a FREE roll of 120 film (medium format) and a Diana F+ camera to borrow. I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but as soon as all the "Meet Up" participators set out in downtown San Francisco for a photo excursion I knew the enthusiasm for experimental photography was rampant.

Taking place at the Lomography Gallery Store at 309 Sutter a group of what looked like a class field trip meandered through crowds and crosswalks happily snapping shots of whatever seemed right. The Diana F+ has the ability to manually expose, and create multiple exposures on the same frame.

I will post these photos once they are developed! I have never used 120 film before, so this should be interesting.

Never having the money to invest in such a camera, I have limited my analogue photography to my Fisheye camera (for the most part, just can't get enough of it), but I feel it may be time for a change. It won't be a complete conversion, but a new adventure in experimenting with different photographic formats.
